Information We Collect

• Account information: Your email address, collected when you register via Clerk.
• Lookup history: The CARC and RARC codes you query through the Service. No patient names, claim numbers, dates of service, or any Protected Health Information (PHI) of any kind are collected or stored.
• Subscription status: Whether you are on the Free or Pro tier. Billing details are processed and stored by Stripe -- we do not store payment card numbers.

How We Use Your Information

• Product operation: To authenticate your account, deliver lookup results, and maintain your lookup history (Pro tier).
• Billing: To process and manage your subscription via Stripe.
• Analytics: Aggregate, non-personal usage data to improve the Service. We do not sell or share individual usage data with third parties for advertising.

Third-Party Service Providers

We share data with the following third parties only to the extent necessary to operate the Service:

• Clerk -- authentication and user account management.
• Supabase -- database storage for lookup history and account data.
• Stripe -- payment processing and subscription management.

Each provider processes only the data required for their specific function and is subject to their own privacy policies.

Your Rights

Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication purposes only. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but doing so will prevent you from signing in.

Acceptable Use

The Service is intended for healthcare billing professionals specializing in behavioral health. You may not use the Service for resale, redistribution, or any purpose other than your own internal billing operations.

Subscription and Billing

• Pro tier is billed at $79/month via Stripe.
• You may cancel at any time from your Account page. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. No prorated refunds.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to your registered email address.

No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees about uptime, the accuracy of code explanations, or fitness for any particular purpose. CARC/RARC interpretations are provided for informational purposes and should be verified against your payer contracts.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SEO Site Central, LLP's aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service is limited to the total fees paid by you in the 30 days prior to the claim. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ohio.

Target Standard

WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This covers criteria related to perceivability, operability, understandability, and robustness of web content.

Known Limitations

About CARC and RARC Codes

Claim Adjustment Reason Codes (CARC) are used to communicate adjustments to healthcare claim payments. Remittance Advice Remark Codes (RARC) provide additional explanation for an adjustment or convey information about remittance processing. Both code sets are industry standards maintained by X12 (the Accredited Standards Committee X12) and CMS respectively.
